Job Profile:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Techno-Functional Consultant to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise in Oracle EBS development tools and a deep understanding of its functional modules. This role is critical in supporting, enhancing, and implementing Oracle EBS solutions to meet our evolving business needs. The consultant will act as a bridge between business users and functional & technical teams, and ensuring the effective support of the EBS system, configuration, customization, and maintenance of our Oracle EBS environment.

- Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Design & Architecture: Design, develop, and implement solutions within Oracle EBS, including configurations, customisations, extensions, interfaces, and reports (CEMLI – Configurations, Extensions, Modifications, Localisations, Integrations).
• Technical Development:
o Develop and modify Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and SQL queries.
o Create and maintain Workflow customisations and Business Events.
o Develop and manage Integrations with other systems using Oracle APIs, Web Services, and other integration methodologies.
o Utilize Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and Oracle Forms Personalization for UI enhancements.
o Develop Discoverer reports and other reporting solutions as required.
• Functional Configuration & Support:
o Configure Oracle EBS modules based on business requirements.
o Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for end-users.
o Conduct functional testing (SIT, UAT) and support user acceptance testing.
o Develop and deliver end-user training and documentation.
• System Maintenance & Performance:
o Monitor system performance and perform tuning as needed.
o Manage Oracle EBS patching, upgrades, and cloning activities in collaboration with DBA teams.
o Ensure data integrity and security within the EBS environment.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical and functional design documents, test plans, user manuals, and other project-related documentation.
• Project Management Support: Participate in project planning, estimation, and execution, adhering to project timelines and deliverables.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with IT colleagues, business users, external vendors, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery and ongoing support.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve complex technical and functional issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant.
o Proven experience in at least 2 to 3+ full life cycle Oracle EBS implementations or major upgrade projects.
o Strong functional knowledge of key Oracle EBS modules, such as:
ï‚§ Human Capital Management (HR, Payroll, SSHR) – Highly Desired
ï‚§ Supply Chain Management (PO, OM, INV, Warehouse management) – Highly Desired
ï‚§ Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE, CM)
ï‚§ Projects (PA)
• Technical Proficiency:
o Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports.
o Strong experience with Oracle Workflow and XML Publisher (BI Publisher).
o Proficiency in Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and OAF Personalizations/Extensions.
o Experience with Oracle APIs and Web Services for integrations.
o Familiarity with Concurrent Programs, Value Sets, Flexfields.
o Knowledge of Discoverer, Toad, SQL Developer, or similar tools.
o Basic understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and database concepts.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):
• Oracle certifications in relevant EBS modules or technologies.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud applications (e.g., ERP Cloud) or a roadmap to transition.
• Knowledge of shell scripting, Java, or other programming languages.
• Experience with data migration tools (e.g., SQL*Loader, FNDLOAD).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.
