Job Profile:
  • Server Infrastructure:

    Designing, building, and managing server environments, including physical and virtual servers.
    Administering and troubleshooting server operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows).
    Managing server hardware, including servers from various vendors.
    Storage Management:
    Designing, configuring, and managing storage solutions, including SANs and NASs.
    Implementing and managing storage zoning, LUN provisioning, and volume management.
    Troubleshooting storage-related issues.

  • Backup and Disaster Recovery:

    Managing data backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
    Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
    Virtualization:
    Planning, deploying, and administering virtual environments using virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware).
    Managing and optimizing virtual machines.
    Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues.
    Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless infrastructure operation.
    Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
    Learning new technologies and completing relevant certifications as and when required.

Work Experience:
  • A Minimum of 4 years or More in managing and supporting heterogeneous virtual, storage, and compute environments.
  • Up to 5 years of proven experience in Storage administration (experience with IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, or Huawei is a plus).
  • Up to 5 years of proven experience in Compute administration(experience with Lenovo/IBM/HP/Dell servers is a plus).
  • Up to 5 years of experience working with Linux, AIX, or Red Hat operating systems.

Experience: 

  • • A Minimum of 2 years or more in managing and supporting heterogeneous virtual, storage, and compute environments.
    • Proven experience in Storage administration
    (experience with IBM, Dell EMC, NetApp, or Huawei is a plus).
    • Proven experience in Compute administration
    (experience with Lenovo/IBM/HP/Dell servers is a plus).
    • Experience in working with Linux, AIX, or Redhat
    operating systems.
  • Qualification.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of server hardware, operating systems, virtualization technologies, storage solutions, and backup systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
    Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams.
  • Documentation: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the infrastructure.
  • Experience: Experience with specific server and storage vendors (e.g., Dell, IBM, NetApp) and virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) is often required.
    Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, Dell, ConmVault, Veeam, AWS, HPE etc) can be a plus.
