Role Overview.

We are offering a dynamic opportunity in our Graduate Trainee program for budding Data Analysts. This role is designed for individuals with a passion for data and analytics, whether they come from a traditional educational background or have built their skills through certifications and self-directed learning.

As a Trainee – Data Analytics Developer, you will gain hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization. You will support the development of analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization, working closely with experienced team members on real projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, processing, and analyzing data from various internal and external sources.

  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of data analytics and reporting systems.

  • Utilize analytics and BI tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI) to perform analysis and generate insights.

  • Participate in the creation of reports and dashboards that present clear, actionable information for business decision-making.

  • Document data sources, assumptions, and methods used in analyses to ensure clarity and repeatability.

  • Engage in continuous learning to improve proficiency in data tools, techniques, and best practices.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across functions, sharing findings in a clear and structured manner.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Certificate in Data Science–related courses or equivalent training (online programs, bootcamps, or self-taught paths in Data Analytics).

  • Technical skills:

    • Basic to intermediate skills in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or R.

    • Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data cleaning, analysis, and reporting.

    • Exposure to BI or visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, or Power BI is an added advantage.

  • Analytical mindset: Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret data accurately.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate findings in simple, clear language to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Teamwork: A collaborative, proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior team members.

  • Learning agility: Demonstrated enthusiasm for continuous learning and the ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving data and technology environment.
